7- Add Your Own Content
Your goal is to build rapport with your visitors. You've completed 80% of the work with the above steps, but you can boost your credibility by adding your own content to your site.
You can publish your opinions and views, reviews about news, videos, products (people like that, which is why they share everything on social networks)
This will make your site even more valuable and generate even more traffic (most of the time referred by your existing traffic)
8- Build Your List
This is what we discussed from the beginning: building rapport requires an awesome website (that you get once you complete all the steps above) AND that you build your list.
Following-up with your list will be the way to further build rapport with your visitors.
I won't discuss this here since you are aware that building your list is the critical piece of any online business model. There's no question about it. You just have to do it!
You will need to add lead capture forms on your website, or better "above" your website so that you can display them at any time and increase your opt-in rate.
Basically a list is like getting Traffic And Profits On Demand!
You can drive traffic to your site by letting your subscribers know about your latest article, or about the latest videos, podcasts...you've just published.
You can generate profit by sending them to your affiliate offers, or simply by redirecting them to your website (product pages) and letting them shop from there!
9- Add New Income Streams And Optimize Your Site Profits
As we've discussed previously, your visitors will end up buying something online one day or another.
Why not be the one from whom or through whom they buy something today?
Why not be the one on whose ads they click to check a new offer?
You're looking for ways to make money online. Providing content is the best way to make money online. Period. There's a strong correlation between the value you're providing and the visitor's $ value.
What does it mean?
a. You need to display banner ads (on top of the Amazon and Ebay ads) featuring related products (could be adsense ads, or any other affiliate program)
b. You need to tweak ALL of your income streams constantly to optimize the visitor's value to your website and make sure you make the most out of it. You can rotate ads, split test opt-in form boxes, display ads based on their click-through rate and based on their conversion rates.
c. You need to regenerate traffic!
Regenerating traffic is simply a step taken to encourage your customer to avoid leaving your website without taking action first.
When someone leaves your website, you will display an extra option for him, these options can be to visit another one of your websites, or to check an affiliate site, or to subscribe to an opt-in form.
These kinds of traffic regeneration strategies are highly performing and can increase the visitor's value by 50% or more.
Not doing it is like throwing money out of the window. They're going to leave anyway, so you have nothing to lose regenerating such visitors and you have a lot to win.
You can expect such a website to generate 2 to 300 leads a month and generate 1500 visitors a month on average (could be 5000 or more, but let's discuss on average) and around $300 to $500 a month (based on your backend sales).
Your next step is to rinse and repeat. You must replicate the above system 10 times at least.
If you can create such a website and simply replicate the process, then at the end of the year you could have 15 of these types of websites generating money for you.
If You Follow The Steps, It Will Work. If You Don't, Then It Won't work. Period.
